hello all
just arrived in katherine on the way back to darwin, the weather has broken.............it is only 30c today with a breeze !!!!!!!! if this keeps up i may have to upgrade to a t shirt.
been out of range for a day or so on my way back from kununurra. not very happy as i planned to do the chopper flight over gregory national park from victoria river roadhouse but the pilot was away at one of the stations
just doing a bit of a shop here in katherine then heading out to elsie falls for tonight about 60k north of katherine.
tomorrow i plan to do a bit of a sidetrack to the old fenton airfield where i believe there is the remains of an old liberation bomber destroyed by the japs during the war. from there i am heading into the bottom way to kakadu for a few days.
will update from cooinda in kakadu
all going well, weather superb, don't want to come home

ReplyDeleteI just had to drop a line to commiserate with you, whilst you're up there enduring all that terrible heat we down here have had beautiful snow in the metro area with lovely temps around zero. Suffer sucker, Brrrr.
